AccessPoint Africa wins competitive bid to implement Call Manager Solution for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Sierra Leone. Our bid was chosen over all others because it was cost effective, provided investment protection and the necessary local Cisco support UNICEF needed to make a Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) PABX solution possible at their Freetown headquarters. As the only Cisco Premier Partner in the country AccessPoint Africa is proud to meet the needs of customers in private and non profit sector as we work together to build a better Sierra Leone.

In the past UN agencies in Sierra Leone had to outsource the implementation of such projects to foreign companies at higher costs, risking poor turn around when there was a need for support. “With AccessPoint Africa, UNICEF-SL is assured that we can recommend, design, and implement cisco solutions as well as provide any necessary support post implementation,” says Anthony Nwachukwu, VP of West Africa Operations at APA.

Our goal as the only premier partner in Sierra Leone is to provide the best available technology to local businesses and organizations that are eager to join Cisco’s human network. “We believe that Sierra Leone’s development depends on the growth and development of IT infrastructure. That is why we have positioned ourselves in the local market as a business solutions provider, using Cisco business solutions for data, voice, video to improve and increase productivity with the best in market technology,” Nwachukwu says.

At AccessPoint Africa we respect and believe in the contributions of non profit organizations such as UNICEF and we look forward to providing solutions for organizations in this sector.
